WALKING AND HIKING IN MID WALES

Mid Wales is an ideal location for walking or hiking.  You will find a vast variety of landscapes from open moorland, rocky peak, ancient oak woods and quiet riverside paths.  There are situations to suit the gentile strollers, the serious booted walkers as well as families exploring the countryside and wildlife.  Moreover, you are never too far from a small market town and a cup of tea or something stronger.

We at Cae Nant are keen hill walkers and have started to put together a selection of our favourite routes on the local hills and further afield. We have some great local loops in the Berwyn hills and some more challenging hikes in Snowdonia. This is a work in progress and all our suggestions will be available in the CNG guide you will receive when you book which you can download and use offline. If your new to hill walking, why not speak to Steve from SJ Adventures who can guide you safely on some of our local mountains.
